When I first put the read about this show on TV, I wasn't sure well it would hold my attention.” Another crime show oh joy” I sarcastically thought. A young woman, with no memory of her prior life, being found in Times Square covered only in tattoos helping to solve crime sounded like it could wind up being like every other female driven Crime TV show out there. I even let my initial reaction stop me from continuing to watch it while it was airing live. However, I found my initial reaction to be incorrect as I decided to give the show a second chance. I put the Blu-ray in to binge watch the first season & I found myself really enjoying this show

First Episode we find Jane who has been dumped in a bag in the middle of time square naked and covered with strange tattoos. With no memories of whom she is or where she came from.  It doesn’t take long for Law enforcement to figure out there is much more to this mystery women then it seems. Her tattoos are clues to crimes that have or will happen. But who has done this to her?

As the first season continues, we find out more and more about Jane. She is much more than the victim that she appears early in the season. I am not going to give you guys any spoilers here, so I will leave it at that. Jane is a force to reckon with and that’s what I like about the show after so many wimpy women in action roles, she can handle herself in hand-to-hand combat and usually comes out the winner.

Just when I think they have who and why figured out. I get away with some new twist in the story.
The cast is amazing I was very impressed by how well British and Australian actors can do an “American” accent. Marianne Jean-Baptiste as Bethany Mayfair does a fantastic accent.
For me, the entire cast makes the show but I am especially drawn to Jaimie Alexander as Jane Doe. She has the look of being entirely vulnerable and then out of nowhere – wham – she kicking some major ass

I can’t wait for season 2
