Star Wars Rebels Officially Renewed for Season Three

iStar Wars Rebels has officially been renewed for a third season.

t's the highest-rated show in key demographics on Disney XD, and Disney has longterm plans for the franchise, so it's probably not much of a surprise, but Monday they announced that

The third season is "currently in production" says the press release, and will premiere in 2016.

"We're very proud of our incredibly creative Rebels team," Lucasfilm SVP of Development and head of the Star Wars Story Group Kiri Hart said in the release. "The show continues to tell fun, heartfelt, exciting new Star Wars stories week after week, and it’s beloved by fans of all ages. Season Three will see our rebel heroes face new obstacles and find new allies in their fight against the Empire."

No Supergirl Crossover Planned For The Flash, Says Greg Berlanti

There are no current plans to cross over The Flash and Supergirl, according to Greg Berlanti, who runs both shows.

Over the holiday weekend, rumors hit that Supergirl would visit Central City and meet with the cast of The Flash. Early reports indicated that it would be a condition of Supergirl's full-season pickup, in order to goose ratings for both shows during May sweeps.

Today, though, Supergirl got an additional order of seven episodes and, following a screening of The Flash/Arrow: Heroes United, this week's two-night crossover event on The CW, Berlanti denied the reports.

"Only because we just received the pickup," Berlanti told reporters when asked whether preliminary discussions for such a crossover had happened. "But not at this point."

Predator 4 Script Is Completed

The script for the Predator 4 film has been completed according to Fred Dekker's Facebook.

Dekker took to social media to share the art work of seven-year-old but more importantly, captioned the post by saying thePredator 4 script has been turned in.

Lori Petty Cast In Gotham

According to Variety, Lori Petty has been cast in Fox's Gotham.

"Petty will play Jeri, the flamboyant and enigmatic hostess of an underground club where mass murder and art are celebrated in equal measure," reports Variety. "Jeri gives clues to Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) during his hunt for his parents’ killer, but she and her gang of merry maniacs are less helpful when Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) comes calling."
