For anybody who didn't realize it, or wasn't sure, that burned-out aircraft carrier in Deadpoolwas, in fact, a Helicarrier.The confirmation comes from a concept artist who worked on the film and who confirmed both that it was a Helicarrier and that the production team on Deadpool had to go out of their way to make it hard to tell.

"[I] was asked to redesign the helicarrier so it looked as different as possible from the one inThe Avengers," concept artist Emmanuel Shiu told io9. "And it had to look like it had been taken apart in some places."
