Sony has just moved their Jon Watts Spider-Man reboot to July 7th, 2017.

The move comes in conjunction with Disney, their producing partner on the film through Marvel Studios. It's part of a sports-like four-movie release date trade, Star Wars: Episode VIII was moved from May 26, 2017 to December 15, 2017. Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales then moved from July 7, 2017 to that May 26 slot.
