Outlast 2 Release Delayed Until 2017


 Red Barrel decided to show-off their demo for its upcoming Outlast 2 game, attendees lucky enough to play the teaser all agreed on one thing: It’s seriously creepy. Standing as the sequel to the first Outlast title, the new game promises to throw unsettled gamers into a horrifying, religious nightmare. However, it appears as if it'll take a bit longer for the game to reach gamers since Outlast 2’s release date has now been delayed until 2017.

In a post pushed to Outlast’s Facebook, the game’s creators wrote, “We had to make a difficult decision recently. After weighing our options we’ve decided to postpone Outlast 2’s release until Q1 of 2017.”


They went on to explain their decision to push back the release, telling fans they wanted to ensure their game is, “the best, most terrifying, most fulfilling” horror game possible. You can read their full statement below:
