Prepare for massive (possible) SPOILERS for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2
Heroic Hollywood has pulled a big scoop from Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, one with possible implications for other films in Marvel’s Phase 3. Four independent sources tell Heroic Hollywood that Peter Qull’s father is the original Captain Marvel, Mar-Vell of the Kree.
While a rumor is a still a rumor until its canon, four independent sources is pretty strong confirmation. It’s also notable that Peter’s father as been described as “angelic,” and the Kree have been described in a similar way when discusses on Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
