My Review
Adapted from the show of the same name, The Man From U.N.C.L.E. takes us to the peak of the cold war in the 1960’s where CIA agent Napoleon Solo (Henry Cavill) and KGB operative Illya Kuryakin (Armie Hammer) are forced to put aside their differences in order to stop a mysterious criminal super power from destabilizing the fragile peace that exists in the world.
I may be one of the few people who did not have a big problem with this movie. I found it really enjoyable and fun / Funny. Then again I didn't go into the movie knowing anything about the tv show or what to expect. Could is have been shaped into a better film? Possibly but I still really liked it for what it was.
Guy Ritchie directs action well enough, the narrative did a fairly good job at delivering a complex spy era plot.  It has a lot of fun moments in the movie.  Henry Cavill is fun as the roguish Napoleon Solo buying into the 60’s playboy vibe with aplomb while Armie Hammer as Kuryakin and the vivacious Alicia Vikander as Gaby add some good flavour to the screen, The only problem I had with it was the end scene I felt was a little bland setting it up for a possible sequel but not leaving me craving a sequel. Over all I'd still have to give this movie 7 stars out of 10. I know a lot of you won't agree with that but. Try just watching the movie not expecting to much and enjoy it for what it is
