A lot of you are going to hate me for my review of this movie. I Know most of you out there loved this movie and went nuts for it. You will be buying the toys for your kids or self etc and waiting for a sequel and extremely excited when one is announced. Even if its years latter like The incredibles but I honestly could of gone my entire life with out seeing this movie and been happy. For all its clever touches, the personified emotions plot still feels like a story the school put together to teach kids about their feelings. just a side not to Pixar and Disney can you please please go back to making movies that are fun and not a bummer. We don't need our kids reminded how utterly depressing the world is. While I Certainly don't think it's in a kids best intrest to be kept within a protective bubble and not exposed to the reality of life I don't think that should be left to Pixar and Disney to do. A "kids" animated movie should bring people Happiness not leave them feeling extremely depressed and bored. I can only imagen all those parents who took there kids to see this movie expecting a fun time. The disapointment on there faces as the movie went from cute to depressing I mean come on. At least warn people that there kids are going to get a full does of reality.
The movie gets really awsome and pushes Depression into overdrive when. The Joy Character is down in the dark waste bin of memories with Riley's imaginary friend. (I personaly got a kick out of this but I am not a kid) Joy clutches The smoldering and dying memories of the past. But she does ecentually make it out of this purgatory because the imaginary friend sacrifices his life and slowly fades a way (Whats a Disney movie with out death to cheer every one up after all!) Not morbid at all DISNEY!
So My rating for this movie would have to be a 3 out of 10

The Special features couldn't even save this movie. If anything they made me dislike the movie even more but hey if you have kids who love being depressed this is the movie for them
